Online Community What is an online community and who is a part of it? Online community is a community where people communicate, exchange information, and make business through the internet access. It's the community of all people who can afford to have a computer or have the ability to access the internet. The internet is easy, inexpensive, convenient to use and available to all. The internet has a low monthly fee that everyone can afford to access. Sometimes they even have free internet access. It is easy to access. Turn the computer on and click one button and one will connect to the internet. The internet is always available to all, even to those who can't afford to have the computer at home, can't afford to pay the monthly fee, or those people who travel around. They can access the internet through the library, school, or even in coffee shops at various cities. There is a library in every city in the U.S. The technology is becoming more and more developed everyday. People can now own a small computer that is transferable, a laptop. They can carry and use it anytime and anywhere they go. People can talk or communicate to as many people as they want, not like telephone where we can only talk to one or two people at a time. It's just as a retired librarian woman said in John Schwartzs article "The American Dream, and Email for All": "I'm a grandmother; I wis h some of my friends were online. It's so much simpler than to communicate in person. You just have to sit down and type something" (241). What do people do on online communities? The internet is very useful in many different ways. John Schwartz stated: "You can pay bills online, find out what is going on at the local high school, get friendly medical advice from a local doctor, or argue about the area's environment issues on local newsgroup in his article "(240). People can use the internet to do school work, get information, communicate, download music and coupons, play games, shop and make business. Many businesses have been successful and are satisfied with the internet access. Through this communication they can make their businesses become more popular and successful. The internet makes their businesses easy for people to find and locate their location, and do business with. Sometimes there are some people are too busy to go out shopping.

Motivate can mean to impel or move to action. In my eyes my mom was just that. My mom worked very hard to instill values and morals in me. She also was a very independent and strong individual. Her story not only motivates me, but also inspires many others in my family. My mom instilled moral and values in me that will last a life time. She made sure we knew the difference in right and wrong at a young age. My sisters and I always knew that not only god was watching us but also she had her eye on us all the time. She always took pride in making sure each and every one of us respected ourselves as well as others. She made sure that we all would grow up a bright young lady’s, by instilling morals. Being a young lady requires one to defiantly have morals. My mother expected us to behave and follow rules at all times, even when we were frustrated at an individual, because we knew it was not tolerated. My mom is a very independent person. My mom raised 7 girls on her own, by staying true to herself and learning from her mistakes, even when times got tough she fought through. My mom worked hard her entire life. I remember times when she would walk to work and sleep on the couch so we had a good night’s rest. There were also times when my mom really struggled but she never asked for aid from a family member or government agency. I can remember my mom always taking care of her children and never giving up. My mom is a very strong person like superwomen. There were times in her life that the average person would have given up. She has given up her health for us, by putting her children first. Some of her health problems would have not been survived by the average person. She was a single mom on a factory salary by being very intelligent women. Being a motivator is never easy. My mom really made it look that way. My mom always made the best of every situation and took pride in raising her children. As I get older I strive to be half the mom she was by instilling values and morals and always being independent and strong.

The Declaration of Independence is possibly the most important document for the American people to this day. The Declaration came about in July 1776 after the colonists were tired of being ignored and taken advantage of by King George the 3rd of Great Britain. In September of 1774 all 13 colonies, aside from Georgia, came together to discuss how to approach this ever growing problem that Great Britain is causing to their country. They decided that if they could not reconcile with Great Britain, then they would met again on May 1775. It took fourteen months, military reinforcements, and further abuse from Great Britain until finally, the 13 colonies declared to chase after their independence. In the fall and winter of 1776 it even seemed that Washington’s army nearly fell apart. He and his troops set out to undertake the British forces at Trenton and Princeton and were victorious. This win restored some hope in the patriots. Dante Alighieri’s influential Late Medieval epic, The Inferno, informs the modern view of Hell and the nature of sin, especially treason, damning historical traitors and two-faced politicians to the horrors of Hell’s lowest circle. In this highly allegorical journey, Dante, as a pilgrim, descends deeper and deeper into Hell, witnessing the plight of sinners fated to eternal damnation.
